The life of David Page, a pioneer of the performing arts, was celebrated at a funeral service through the mediums that he loved at the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane on Monday.

Friend and colleague Wesley Enoch was the celebrant of the service.
"He was humble and always made time for his parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, his many cousins and his many friends," Mr Enoch said at the service.

"He always remembered your name and always remained your friend, and in return they loved him back."

David's family, his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, reflected on the good times they had with him and the laughs that they had shared, beginning from when he was just a child.

His talents grew and flourished throughout his 55 years.

"We are heartbroken that you have left us too soon," Mr Enoch said at the service.

"There were still so many more songs to write, more stories to tell, so many more laughs to be had and as your family, we will treasure every moment, every memory of you."

"Your unconditional love, friendship, generosity of spirit and your gift of storytelling will remain in our hearts forever."
His family shared three words at his funeral service.

'Honour', 'respect' and 'remember'.

Honour his talent. Respect his decisions in life. Remember him for the loving person that he was.
