In a harmonious convergence of visual art and music, Ukrainian painter Anna Mykhalchuk and pianist Kelvin Smith recently brought the soul-stirring project, 'With Ukraine in Our Hearts,' to life on the historic Parliament Lawns in Hobart.

Anna, hailing from Ukraine, poured her creativity onto an old piano, creating a timeless masterpiece inspired by the Samchykivka art form. The piano, now a canvas, echoed with the essence of Ukrainian culture and history.

The music floated through the air, weaving a captivating narrative that resonated with the painted strokes on the piano. The collaborative performance unfolded like a dialogue between two artistic souls, each complementing and enhancing the other.

The audience was transported to the heart of Ukraine, immersed in a sensory experience that transcended geographical boundaries. Anna's artwork, with its intricate details and vibrant colors, served as a visual testament to the rich cultural tapestry of Ukraine. Kelvin's skilled rendition of "Melody" Skoryk added depth and emotion, creating a powerful synergy that stirred the hearts of those present.
