Embracing his native musical style, 23-year-old Indian international student Karamveer Singh infused Imagine Dragon’s song 'Bones' with an Indian twist during the 'Australian Idol' auditions, a reality TV competition. Here, we delve into the singing and life journey of this sound engineer in a conversation with SBS Punjabi.

Speaking to SBS Punjabi, Karamveer Singh explains how singing never felt like a forced endeavor but rather a natural talent that developed alongside him.

"It's one natural thing that grew with me as I grew," he says.
Mr. Singh recently participated in the auditions for Channel Seven's television show 'Australian Idol,' and his video quickly went viral within the community.

"Unveiling my soul on the Australian Idol stage was a true honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to showcase my passion on such a high-profile platform, where thousands of contestants from the nation strive to participate," says Mr. Singh.

He further believes that his participation will help dispel stereotypical notions associated with turbans and unshorn beards, often linking them with professions like truck or Uber drivers.
