'Always dream big': Fil-Aussie basketball team sets sights high for 2024 NBTC tournament in Manila

The NBTC is a program by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas Inc. aimed at identifying and developing young players. It started as a training program for the Philippines' national basketball teams and now includes the NBTC League, featuring top high school teams nationwide and internationally since 2016.

Representing Homegrown Basketball Australia, Fil-Aussie teams, including 14U, 16U, 19U and girl's team, will compete against top global teams.

Ernie Camacho, a proud father and coach, expressed his joy in his son Mitchell's achievements. The duo has been tirelessly practicing and training every day to ensure Mitchell is fully prepared for the upcoming challenge.
