Talk about impact! RuPaul and her Drag Race alumni Raja are set to co-star in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, it was revealed yesterday.

Speaking to, The Simpsons showrunner, Al Jean spoke about the episode, which sees Marge transform into a drag queen in the hopes of selling more Tupperware.

“Most successful Tupperware sellers are drag queens,” Jean said.

He continued: “So Marge starts selling Tupperware, and her friend Julio convinces her to pose as a drag queen to make more money."

"They think she’s a guy playing a woman, which Marge kind of looks like a little. She’s really successful and then RuPaul is playing a character like himself.”
Season 3 winner Raja took to social media to share her emotional response to the career-highlight role.

“I’ll never forget crying my eyes out, as rain came pouring down on the sidewalk outside the recording studio. Tears of joy,” she wrote on Instagram, explaining that the part had a huge personal significance.

“The Simpsons was a huge part of my childhood, being asked to be on an episode was surreal and mind blowing, to say the least."
