Look, French actress Adèle Haenel is an icon for more reasons than one.

Not only is she an incredible actor, having won two César Awards and a Lumières Award, the outspoken feminist is a prominent face of France's #MeToo movement and was one of the first celebrities to about abuse within the French film industry.

She doesn't just talk the talk, either. Earlier this year the Portrait of a Lady on Fire star after the 2020 gong for Best Director was given to rapist Roman Polanski - shouting "shame" and "bravo paedophile" as she left the building.

Haenel also happens to be a proud lesbian, coming out during her César award acceptance speech in 2014, while sharing with the world that she was in a relationship with director Céline Sciamma, whom she met on the set of Water Lilies (the pair have since broken up but it was very sweet).
So, all considered, it's little surprise that a video compilation of Haenel acting like a boss has gone viral on Twitter. Set to the song 'Stupid' by Ashnikko and Yung Baby Tate (warning: explicit language), the clip, which declares Haenel "really is the lord of the lesbians", has been viewed close to 400,000 times.

"The way she rolled up her sleeves... I’m malfunctioning," one fan.

Another added: "She is the patron saint of white lesbians wow."

You can catch Haenel in The Unknown Girl, streaming now on .
