Cue the 'awwws'.

Pre-schooler, Rondelle Williams is breaking hearts with her memorised Acknowledgement of Country of the Wurundjeri people. Wearing an oversized beanie adorned with the Aboriginal flag, Koorie girl, Rondelle says thank you to the members of the Kulin Nation and promises to look after the land.

Rondelle is the only Aboriginal child at the kindergarten. Her Dad is Yorta Yorta and Wiradjuri and her Mum is Taungarung. Her mum told NITV that the Co-operative have 'been fabulous and are currently working on a RAP for the centre.'

As you may have noticed, Rondelle's Acnowledgement includes some colourful additions, not generally practiced by Elders, politicians or spokespeople. "Hello Land", Rondelle says as she touches the floor; "Hello Sky", Rondelle calls as she reaches up high. Tailored to kids, many child care centres around the country have been teaching children Acknowledgements by including poems and gross motor skills.
