WHAT LABOR WANTED TO TALK ABOUT

Why won't the government schedule more than 10 days of sittings over eight months.

--

WHAT THEY SAID

"Given that Malcolm Turnbull was decent enough to say sorry to the victims of the banks, why is he no longer the prime minister of Australia?" - Opposition Leader Bill Shorten.

"When will the Labor Party apologise for destroying the border protection regime?" - Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

"He doesn't have much of a profile ... except when he is on my show." - Defence Minister Christopher Pyne on his Labor counterpart and Sky News colleague Richard Marles.
