Justin Bieber's security guard has reportedly been arrested in Atlanta, Georgia.

TMZ reports that it has learnt from "law enforecement" that the pop star, who turns 20 on Saturday, had been at an Atlanta amusement park on Tuesday afternoon when a member of his security team snatched a camera from a lurking photographer.

Acording to TMZ, the guard got into an argument with the waiting paparazzo. The security man reportedly grabbed the camera, handed it to the driver and told him to take off.

Police reportedly found the vehicle, and the camera, at the home Bieber is renting from music producer Dallas Austin.

The photographer, who is said to have followed the Escalade to Bieber's home, then had the camera returned to him.

TMZ says the guard and driver, whose names have not been released, were arrested for theft.

It's the latest in a string of legal woes linked to the singer, including three pending court cases.

Bieber is facing charges of drink-driving, driving with an invalid licence and resisting arrest in Miami, Florida after he was busted allegedly drag racing there last month.

CNN reports a hearing in the case is scheduled for next Tuesday in preparation for trial.

The singer is also facing an assault charge in Toronto, where he recently handed himself in following claims he had struck a limousine driver repeatedly on the back of the head while en route to a nightclub.

The first court hearing in that case is scheduled for March 10.

CNN also reports Bieber faces a possible vandalism charge amid accusations he threw eggs at his neighbour's home in Calabasas, California last month, causing an estimated $US20,000 ($A22,245.70) in damage.

Prosecutors are expected to make a decision soon on whether to charge him.

And the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating allegations the singer and his father interfered with crew on a charter flight from Canada to New Jersey for last month's Super Bowl.

A report from US Customs and Border Protection told CNN the men ignored warnings to stop smoking marijuana onboard, and a law enforcement source told the outlet the pair were "extremely abusive verbally".
