More than 300,000 video game fans are heading to Germany for the chance to be among the first to play the latest games, including the new Call of Duty, when Gamescom gets underway in Cologne.

Sony's PlayStation Neo is due later this year and is said to support ultra high definition 4K video, but the firm is planning a separate event in September to discuss the system.
While little is known of Nintendo's next console, the NX, reports suggest the Super Mario creator is unlikely to use Gamescom as the platform to finally reveal the device.
