* Labor's bid to end franking credits faces opposition in the Senate, with the Centre Alliance senators demanding changes before they will support it.

* A Liberal candidate in Victoria has been disendorsed after he made positive comments about his Labor opponent Richard Marles. Two other Liberal candidates in NSW have been disendorsed after there was a delay in confirming their dual citizenship status.
