WHAT THE COALITION WANTED TO TALK ABOUT:

Continued spruiking of its policy to guarantee three-quarters of the deposit for first home buyers, and the unknown quantity people will get if they vote for independents.

WHAT LABOR WANTED TO TALK ABOUT:

Its plans to reduce waiting lists for hospitals and elective surgeries, plans to help pensioners pay for dental treatment, and the Liberals' lack of policies.
