WHAT LABOR WANTS TO TALK ABOUT:
Better health services will be central at Labor's campaign launch, with Bill Shorten to point to his party willing to spend $8 billion more on health than the Morrison government.

WHAT IS MAKING NEWS:
* Labor's campaign launch will be held in Brisbane, with Queensland pivotal to winning the May 18 election. Mr Shorten will make the rallying speech, while deputy leader Tanya Plibersek and Senate leader Penny Wong will also make speeches, with former prime ministers Paul Keating, Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard in attendance.
* The anti-Adani convoy led by Bob Brown will hold a rally on the lawns of Parliament House in Canberra on its last stop. The convoy left Hobart just before Easter and travelled to Clermont in central Queensland to protest the controversial coal mine project.
* A poll of three key seats in Perth, published by The West Australian, indicate the battle for Liberal seats Pearce and Swan and Labor's Cowan will go down to the wire.
