WHAT LABOR WANTS TO TALK ABOUT:
Funding for the disabled with the announcement Labor would create an NDIS future fund to guarantee that every dollar budgeted for the scheme will go towards it.

WHAT IS MAKING NEWS:
* School students are staging another strike for climate change on Friday. This time they will be targeting several offices of the federal politicians across the country. Meanwhile, disability advocacy group Every Australian Counts will hold rallies across the country as part of the National Day of Action on the NDIS.
* Police are investigating after posters of Tony Abbott with offensive slogans written on his face were plastered around his Sydney electorate of Warringah. Several caricatured heads with expletives written across the former prime minister's forehead were found on walls in Manly, Mosman and Seaforth on Thursday morning. Others were emblazoned with the word "Pell".
* Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack will spend more time in his NSW electorate of Wagga Wagga where he's expected to watch the running of the Gold Cup in the afternoon.
