In a statement to SBS Punjabi, the Madame Tussauds team said that the wax figure is a real-looking depiction of Mr Dosanjh with close attention to detail in how the celebrity dresses and looks.
The team completed the wax figure over nine months with the contributions of 20 skilled artists, sculptors, colourists, hairdressers and stylists.
The details include frequently worn Balenciaga sneakers and a silver 'kara' bracelet, which Mr Dosanjh donated as a symbol of his Sikh faith.
The entertainer’s iconic look is rounded out through his signature turban, shoes, and attire.

"The inspiration for the outfit choice came from the show at melbourne where he was wearing this jacket and gave it to a young fan on stage. We wanted to recreate this moment here,” said Ms Ryan.

"As his second figure launches on a new continent, and as Madame Tussauds Sydney’s first turbaned Sikh figure, we think this is a fitting celebration of his fan base and culture here in Australia," Ms Ryan said.
Joining Mr Dosanjh’s wax double is an interactive DJ booth, allowing guests to control a top hits playlist.
Mr Dosanjh first unveiled his wax figure at Madame Tussauds Delhi in 2019.
He said at the time, "it is a big moment for me and my fans that a man wearing a turban and representing Sikh culture has a wax statue here for the first time," he said.
"I first saw Madame Tussauds while on a trip to London when I was young. Never thought I would have my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds one day,” he said.
Mr Dosanjh joins other well-known performers at the Sydney museum.
“The global superstar will take his place as the latest permanent addition in Sydney Live, the attraction’s music zone, alongside other iconic artists, including Rihanna and Harry Styles," said Anika Schmitzer, Operations Manager Madame Tussauds.
Audience reactions
Mr Dosanjh’s fans in Sydney have welcomed the new figure by visiting the attraction and sharing images online.
Dhwani Desai and Miranda Dhar are Sydneysiders who went to Mr Dosanjh's concert at Qudos Bank Arena and were invited as super fans at the wax figure unveiling.
“When I walked in, I was like, is he actually there? I was like oh my god, when I went to him I was so happy to see him,” said Ms Desai.
Ms Dhar echoed her sentiments.
“I just can’t believe how life-like it is. Walking in made me feel like I was back at his concert,” Ms Dhar said.
