Almost a year after the Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children delivered its recommendations the age of criminal responsibility remains at 10 in the Northern Territory.
One of the recommendations of the Royal Commission was to raise the age of criminal responsibility from 10 to at least 12 years of age.
The Northern Territory government has made no change so far, but says it is considering ways to implement the reform.
It's the same age in all Australia's states and territories - four years below the international standard.
Legal services and advocates are calling it "a national disgrace".
