Matagumpay na mobile mission sa Perth

Matagumpay ang naging mobile mission ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa Perth, Western Australia na nagsimula noong ika-7 hanggang 14 ng Nobyembre.

• Ayon sa 2021 Australian Census, merong mahigit sa 46,000 Filipinos at Australians na may Filipino descent ang naninirahan sa Western Australia.
• Nakapagproseso ang mga opisyal ng embahada ng 1,073 passport applications at 87 dual citizenship petitions.
• Ang mission ay sinuportahan ni Philippine Honorary Consul to Perth Ms. Virma Symons at mga lider ng komunidad PIlipino sa WA

Ang misyon ay pinangunagan ni Consul General Aian Caringal na nakipagpulong din kay Michelle Hopkins Roberts, speaker of the Western Australia Legislative Assembly. Ilan sa kanilang napagusapan ay ang mga kontribusyon ng mga Filipino sa rehiyon at suporta ng state government sa mga manlalayag na Filipino na dumaong sa estado noong kasagsagan ng pandemya.
