Their videos initially included just Sammy and his wife Nazia. But the star cast has now expanded to include almost all members of the family and people are just loving each one of them.

There's not one member of Sameer Sheikh's family who fails in what they consider their sacred duty- 'to make people laugh'.

What began as a weekend experiment between Mr Sheikh who is popularly known as Sammy, and his wife Nazia posting occasional videos of their daily quarrels in an average Punjabi family over petty things giving it a humorous twist, has now become a ritual for the entire family.

"Making someone laugh is the most difficult yet most satisfying thing in the world," Mr Sheikh tells SBS Punjabi.

The passion for acting since their college days led Sammy and Nazia who now live in Melbourne, to venture into short video production two years ago.

Since then, their social media following has grown to nearly 400,000 Facebook fans.

"It's not our bread and butter at the moment, but I am definitely serious about taking a shot at acting profession some day in the future," Sammy tells SBS Punjabi.
As their popularity as a funny couple grew, the couple expanded the star cast with other family members now appearing regularly in the videos.
Sammy's mother Surinder Kaur is proving to be just as popular, if not more, as Sammy or Nazia themselves. She has nearly 50,000 Facebook followers in a short time she has been on social media.

Their videos are mostly short and simple, featuring the couple themselves and their other family members and friends.
They generally recreate the moments most families in rural Punjab, where they come from, would have, and give it a light, humorous touch.
