反洗钱！联邦警察一次性冻结中国公民1730万资产

据澳大利亚联邦警察10月31日消息，作为对涉嫌洗钱的两名中国公民的调查的一部分，联邦警察冻结了包括超大型豪宅、住宅开发项目、农田和商业地产在内的1730万澳元资产。

联邦警察称，自2012年以来，这两名中国公民从中国骗取了约2300万澳元资金，犯罪所得用于购买或开发墨尔本、塔州的众多房地产项目。

这个名为Gethen行动的调查始于2017年，是应中国公安部请求而展开的援助。中国当局认为，这笔资金是通过房地产和银行贷款诈骗在中国筹集得来的。

10月29日，联邦警察犯罪资产没收专案组（Criminal Assets Confiscation Taskforce）冻结了七处财产，包括：

墨尔本Mont Albert的新建豪宅；

对有关人员的调查仍在进行中。

联邦警察犯罪资产没收专案组的侦缉警司（Detective Superintendent）凯特·费里（Kate Ferry）表示，这显示了国际合作的价值，并称：“自我们在2017年与中国公安部正式建立合作关系以来，澳大利亚联邦警察已经冻结了5000万澳元资产。”
