Taskeen Rahman: Romeo in Dhaka, Villain in Kolkata

Dhallywood glamorous villain Taskeen Rahman has been busy in Dhaka and Kolkata finishing shooting feature films 'Jodi Ekdin' and 'Sultan'. SBS Bangla spoke with the actor about his career and personal life.

Taskeen Rahman stars as the villain with Kolkata superstar Jeet in the film 'Sultan' which was jointly produced by Bangladeshi production company Jaaz Multimedia in Jeetz Filmworks and Surinder Films of India.

Meanwhile in Dhaka Mostafa Kamal Raz has begun shooting the film 'Jodi Ekdin', where Taskeen appears again, this time as a romantic actor. 

The action thriller, 'Dhaka Attack', released at the end of 2017, saw Taskeen brought to the spotlight in which he played a villainous role. 

In the category of 'Star Survey', Taskeen won the Best Newcomer Actor (Male) Award in Meril-Prothom Alo Purashkar 2017.

"As an actor, I always tried to give my best, this one is very important for me," Taskeen Rahman told SBS Bangla.

Taskeen, who lives in Australia, returns to Sydney on Monday.
